Schedules: Schedules are emailed on a weekly basis, no later than Saturday, for the following week using our automated scheduling system, Humanity.

  • If you receive an email from Shift Planning, please do not ignore it as it likely contains an important schedule update. If you do not receive your schedule via email, be sure to check your junk and spam folders as your email privacy settings sometimes automatically filter them.
  • Once you have reviewed your schedule, make sure to click the Link to confirm you have accepted all the scheduled shifts. If you cannot work any of the shifts assigned, make sure to email your supervisor immediately and include which shifts you cannot work and why. If you do not confirm your schedule or respond to management in a timely manner, you will be removed from the schedule.

Requests for Time Off: Time off requests must be submitted via Shift Planning indicating the date/time you will be unavailable and the date/time you will be available again.

  • Time off requests should be submitted at least 2 weeks prior. Submitting time off requests 2 weeks prior does not guarantee the request will be approved, however it does increase the chances of it as management must fairly consider all time off requests submitted in order.

Time Sheets: You are able check your own timesheet via Shift planning. If you cannot use Shift Planning to clock in/out, you must submit a personal timesheets. Timesheets should be submitted every 16th and 1st of each month if required.

Payroll: Pay periods are from every 1st to the 15th and 16th to the 30th/31st. Paychecks are available every 5th and 20th of each month

  • Any payroll questions or corrections should be directed to the local manager.

Uniform Policy: While on duty, it is of the utmost importance PPS Inc. agents not only act the part, but look the part as well. Please remember that only approved clothing and accessories are permitted while on duty; this includes coats/jackets, shoes, hats and other items. If at any time you are unsure whether or not what you are wearing is permitted, please refer to the company guidelines or contact your supervisor for clarification. We kindly request that you be mindful of the company uniform policy as it is of utmost importance all officers dress consistently and professionally at all times.
