Rules and Regulations

  1. Absenteeism - Absences shall be grounds for disciplinary action. The company reserves the right to require a medical release or excuse from a doctor for more than 2 days missed of work. If you cannot report for work or be on time, you must report your absence to the office in advance, or at the earliest possible time. A minimum of four- (4) hour’s notice is required to be given prior to any assigned shift if you will be absent from. Unnecessary or habitual tardiness is also not tolerated. Failure to contact the supervisor or office for tardiness or absence may be grounds for termination.
  2. Alcohol - Do not possess or consume alcohol or intoxicating beverages 12 hours before shift start time.  Do not appear for duty under the influence or have the smell of liquor on your breath. Failure to comply may be grounds for termination.
  3. Drugs - The possession, distribution, consumption or being under the influence of any of controlled substance to include medicinal marijuana and hallucinogens is not authorized without medical prescription. All anti-depressants, muscle relaxers, pain medication, or other drugs impacting cognitive or motor function or may cause impaired judgment and reaction time must be disclosed and added to the employee administrative record in accordance with HIPAA regulations. The Company reserves the right to require employees to be tested, using appropriate testing procedures for illegal drug and/or alcohol usage. Administrative or other legal action may be taken in violation of this rule.
  4. Firearms and Weapons (baton, mace etc.) - Do not carry a firearm or a weapon unless required to do so. When required to carry a firearm or a weapon you must have a valid license in the state you are working.
  5. Leaving Post - Do not leave your post or duty without being properly relieved, or the post secured in accordance with the directions from your supervisor.
  6. Obey Orders and Supervisors - Refusal or failure to obey supervisors or post instructions or other Company authorities will not be tolerated.
  7. Personal Work and Business - You shall not, while on duty, engage in any personal work or business not approved or in the interest of the company. Examples include, but not limited to, are other employment or business, hobbies, vehicle repair or maintenance.
  8. Personnel Electronic Media and periodicals - All electronic media, to include MP3, IPOD, television, radio, or smartphone streaming app usage are not allowed while on duty. All newspapers, magazines, books, or other reading material not sole property of PPS is not allowed while on shift.
  9. Reports - Failure to make required written reports will not be tolerated. No altering, falsifying, or allowing others to alter or falsify employee time records or job records will be tolerated. Falsification of records in the transaction of Company business, including misrepresentation or withholding of pertinent facts in securing employment, may result in dismissal.
  10. Sleeping/Lack of Awareness - Sleeping and/or being unaware of your surroundings while on duty is strictly prohibited. You are responsible to insure that you have adequate rest prior to reporting your work assignment. Violating this on duty may be grounds for termination.
  11. Telephone - No personal phone calls will be made on location telephone. Customer and Company telephone bills are regularly checked. Unauthorized use of telephones will result in employee paying for the calls place or received and may be grounds for termination.
  12. Uniform and Appearance - You must always maintain a neat appearance. Your shoes must be shined, uniform, insignia, accessories and equipment necessary for the discharge of your duties. These are company property and you must care for and maintain them in good condition. When company items are lost or damaged because of carelessness, negligence or abuse you shall be charged for replacement. When no longer in need you must return or account for all company property issued to you. The entire uniform shall be worn during all duty hours. Uniform shall never be worn except in the performances of duty or as directed by the supervisor.
  13. Customer’s Equipment and Property - Do not use customer’s equipment, including, but not limited to: computers, copiers, telephone, office equipment and tools. Destruction, damage, or unauthorized removal of company or customer property without prior written approval is prohibited.
  14. Visitors - Personal visitors while on duty or shift is not authorized unless approved through PPS management. Violation of this rule may be grounds for termination.
  15. Accidents and Injury - You must promptly report an incident or on-the- job injury or accident, involving a customer or Company employee, equipment, property or visitor.
  16. Improper Statements - Making malicious or false statements that may damage the integrity company or its customers, or their employees is prohibited.
